Olá, sou Viktoria Farkas. Minha trajetória artística é a prova de que nunca é tarde para se reinventar. Até recentemente, eu trabalhava em um ambiente de escritório, mas em 2020 iniciei uma aventura que mudou minha vida para os Estados Unidos. Minha missão era dupla: dominar um novo idioma e mergulhar de cabeça no mundo da fotografia.
Trocando minha cadeira de escritório por uma câmera, a cidade de Nova York tornou-se minha sala de aula. Tive o privilégio de aprender com mestres renomados como Lindsay Adler e de me conectar com profissionais como Norbi Bánhalmi. O que começou como uma busca por novas possibilidades rapidamente se tornou uma verdadeira vocação.
Meu momento de virada surgiu quando uma de minhas fotografias foi selecionada pela galeria Art Square NY para ser exibida em um enorme outdoor em Times Square — bem longe dos arquivos do escritório onde comecei. Essa paixão me levou desde a busca por faróis no Maine até perseguir cachoeiras em Watkins Glen, levando, por fim, à publicação de minha autobiografia visual, "Lens and Life", apresentando minhas 100 imagens favoritas em preto e branco.
