Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Após se formar na escola de arte em Florença, Itália,
Estudei técnicas cerâmicas italianas.
Depois de retornar ao Japão, comecei a desafiar a mim mesmo para criar obras que fossem além dos limites da cerâmica.
Quando encontrei alguns restos de banana, o favorito do meu pai, na cozinha, fiquei convencido de que aquilo era arte, e desde então tenho criado obras com tema de banana por cerca de 18 anos.
