Description

The Sharp GF-555H is the European version of the legendary Sharp GF-555, produced in Japan between 1980 and 1981. It was marketed under the name "The Searcher" and is historically important as one of the world's first commercially successful dual-cassette boomboxes.

Compared with the Asian GF-555X and UK GF-555E, the GF-555H was adapted for continental Europe, featuring European radio bands and power specifications. It became the foundation for later Sharp icons such as the GF-666 and the legendary GF-777.
