La composizione della cornice è estremamente ricca e scenografica. La parte superiore è dominata da una importante cimasa floreale tridimensionale, composta da fiori, foglie e motivi vegetali scolpiti. Ai lati si sviluppano eleganti volute, riccioli, conchiglie e motivi rocaille, enquanto a parte inferior apresenta uma grande decorazione curva que converge para um elaborado elemento central.

L’intera superficie della cornice é impreziosita da una caratteristica craquelure, com uma rede de sottili crepe na finisura que testemunha o passar do tempo e coro o pezzo um autêntico aspecto vivido e antiquariale. Le traces de doratura, as variações cromáticas e as pequenas abrasões contribuem ainda mais para a sua estética vintage.

Lo specchio presenta uma grande lastra rettangolare com profilo sagomato, inserita na cornice. A superfície riflettente conserva um agradável aspecto antigo, com leggére alterazioni, segni e variações da refletção devido à idade, particularmente evidentes em algunas zonas.

Magnificent antique decorative wall mirror, featuring an exceptionally ornate carved and sculpted frame decorated in elegant shades of ivory, cream, gold and delicate pastel tones.

The frame is highly elaborate and theatrical in design. The upper section is dominated by a prominent three-dimensional floral crest, composed of sculpted flowers, leaves and botanical elements. The sides feature elegant scrolls, curls, shell motifs and rocaille ornamentation, while the lower section terminates in a large sweeping curved decoration with an elaborate central element.

The entire frame is enhanced by a distinctive aged crackle finish, with a network of fine surface cracks that beautifully reflects the passage of time and gives the piece an authentic antique character. Traces of gilding, colour variations and small areas of wear further enhance its sophisticated vintage appearance.
