This is a pleinair painting, with authenticity certificate signed by the artist.
Martina Bugallo is an artist from the Northwest of Spain, based near Santiago de Compostela, but she lived also in Amsterdam for long periods of time because her family worked there.
She is one of the creators of the artists' group GALEOSKA, an interdisciplinar group of artists from the Northwest of Spain. This group also published an art magazine with the same name.
The most famous serie of Bugallo is “Blurred Roads” where she represents city scapes, rainy streets and lonely paths or landscapes.
She is also a portrait painter, with two series "lonely lives under rainy conditions" and "disneas", this last one started during the pandemic. Both series show women in isolated or claustrophobic environments.
In many of these paintings colour appear but the dramatic composition remains.
She is also a plein air painter in the North-west of Spain.
She is an outstanding plein air painter with several awards, not only in plein air contests in Spain, but also in other international contests, as BAM 2019 prize.

1st prize VI Plein Air Painting Contest at the Botanical Garden of Gijón, Spain (2018).
1st prize in the Sanxenxo Plein Air Painting Contest (2018).

With lots of art exhibitions in her curriculum mainly in Spain and Portugal, we can mention other international ones such as Bugallo's participation in Art Shopping Carrousel du Louvre 2017, in Paris.
She collaborates with some galleries in the North of Spain ( Galería Tangram, Galería Stoupa) but also with "Aires de Córdoba" a gallery in the South of Spain.
