Imperian Navy Rom de Luxe - Collectors Series No.1 - 70cl

With Imperial Navy Rum, RomDeLuxe presents the first release in the Collectors Series. Stylistically inspired by classic navy rums, this release combines rums from four Caribbean countries with a rich heritage to create a blend full of character.

The composition consists of 28 per cent ten-year-old rum from Trinidad, 22 per cent ten-year-old rum from Barbados, 26 per cent eleven-year-old rum from Jamaica and 24 per cent eleven-year-old rum from Guyana. The blend thus combines different Caribbean rum styles and evokes the historical tradition of blending rums from various origins for use by the British Royal Navy.

The Imperial Navy has been bottled at a robust 57.18% ABV in what is known as ‘Gunpowder Proof’ or ‘Navy Strength’. The release comprises just 989 bottles and was therefore conceived from the outset as a limited-edition collector’s bottling. The rum was bottled without the addition of sugar or colouring; it was not bottled unfiltered.

As the first release in the RomDeLuxe Collectors Series, this bottling also holds special significance for collectors of the brand. The combination of the limited edition, the Navy rum style and the unusual blend of rums from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana makes the Imperial Navy an intriguing bottling for connoisseurs of high-quality, historically inspired rum blends.
