Description:

I am selling a vintage pocket lighter, classic automatic model (Fit-Action mechanism), made in the middle of the last century (estimated 1950s–1960s). The design and proportions are strongly inspired by the legendary Ronson Standard / Princess models from the Art Deco era.

The piece is ideal both for collectors and as an elegant vintage accessory or prop.

Aesthetic features and details:

Finish: Chrome-plated metal casing, decorated with fine vertical striations (engine-turned), with a very beautiful mirror shine under the action of light.

Personalization: On the front side it features a discreetly engraved geometric cartridge with the initials "P.R.".

Base: Flat, clean (no markings), typical of vintage versions produced as affordable replicas (no-name) in Japan or Western Europe.

Aesthetic condition: Very good for its age. It has normal micro-scratches of wear and a fine, superficial bend on the bottom edge (visible only upon close examination), which does not affect the stability or tightness of the tank. No traces of rust or corrosion.

Technical condition:

The opening/closing mechanism works smoothly.

The original cotton wick is complete and present in its holder (it only requires a slight adjustment/cleaning at the tip).

The lower compartment is complete, equipped with both original screws: the large gas cap and the flint sliding screw.

The lighter is sold in the aesthetic condition visible in the photos. Requires the addition of a new stone (flint) and specific gasoline to be fully operational again
