ASSEMBLY
Na série Assembly, eu uso abstração geométrica como linguagem para mapear a experiência humana dentro de grandes cidades. Por meio de composições que brincam com volumes, perspectivas e blocos de cor, eu construo passagens visuais que evocam a arquitetura moderna e o ritmo da cidade. No entanto, essas linhas e planos não são estruturas vazias: representam espaços de convivência, os cantos de encontros fortuitos e as fronteiras invisíveis que unem ou isolam em nosso ambiente urbano. Ao integrar materiais variados e desfocar as fronteiras entre belas artes e design de superfície, meu trabalho torna-se um palco vivo. É um convite para pausar e habitar a geometria, transformando a fria monumentalidade da cidade em um mapa acolhedor de identidade coletiva, empatia e nossa profunda necessidade humana de conexão.

Meu trabalho insere-se no âmbito da abstração geométrica contemporânea, onde estrutura e intuição coexistem. Por meio de círculos, linhas e planos de cor, eu exploro relações visuais que oscilam entre a ordem composicional e a espontaneidade do gesto.
Enquanto minha prática se ancora nos princípios da Bauhaus—clareza formal, equilíbrio e uso da geometria—ela se distingue pela incorporação de texturas gestuais que ativam o espaço negativo. Essas superfícies materiais, trabalhadas com maior liberdade, geram uma tensão entre controle e expressividade.
Em contraste, o espaço positivo é construído por formas geométricas definidas—círculos, ovais, triângulos e planos cromáticos—organizados com precisão estrutural. Estas formas funcionam como unidades visuais que geram ritmo, hierarquia e equilíbrio dentro da composição.
A coexistência de superfícies texturizadas e elementos geométricos afiados estabelece um diálogo entre gesto e estrutura. A cor, aplicada em planos saturados e contrastantes, atua como elemento organizador que guia o olhar e reforça as dinâmicas internas da obra.
Em minhas várias séries, abordo temas como relacionamentos humanos, memória, migração, espiritualidade e questões sociais, traduzidos em uma linguagem abstrata e sintética. Estas referências não são apresentadas de forma literal, mas integradas à estrutura composicional por meio de tensões, equilíbrios e conexões entre formas.
My work thus proposes a contemporary geometric language that combines formal rigor and expressive freedom, inviting both an analytical reading of the composition and a direct visual experience.

A good cotton linen that prevents tears or stretching, top quality materials from top brands, mediums to obtain flexible textures that prevent cracks, the density of the fabric that is transmitted in its weight, the proper stretching and priming ensure that you are investing in a quality work and ensure that it remains intact over time.

Biography:
Miriam Chiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.
She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.
Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.
Miriam’s works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.

Hoje ela vive em Senigallia, Itália, depois de viajar por muitas cidades: Milão, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, Manchester, Buenos Aires, Rosario e sua cidade natal, Ceres. Cada lugar deixou sua marca em sua arte, moldando a visão e a expressão que permeiam seu trabalho.

Uma obra de arte é muito mais do que um objeto da moda, uma tendência passageira ou um elemento decorativo projetado para resolver uma questão espacial. Eu crio pinturas com a esperança de que elas se tornem uma janela pela qual você possa contar sua própria história—onde a arte interage com sua vida de maneira significativa.
