Royal Albert “Masquerade” – 14-Piece Bone China Tea Set – England – c. 1960s–1970s
An exceptionally elegant and visually striking Royal Albert “Masquerade” tea set, beautifully crafted in fine English bone china and estimated to date from circa the 1960s–1970s.
The Masquerade pattern is one of Royal Albert’s more dramatic designs, featuring magnificent deep crimson and pink roses set against charcoal-black foliage, beautifully contrasted against brilliant white bone china. The glossy jet-black saucers, handles and foot detailing create a sophisticated and distinctive appearance.
This wonderful collection comprises 14 pieces: 8 teacups and 6 matching saucers.
Each piece displays the refined shape and delicate construction associated with Royal Albert, with examples carrying the authentic “Royal Albert – Bone China – England – Masquerade” backstamp.
Condition
Presented in vintage condition with signs consistent with age and previous use. Two cups have visible fine internal hairlines/crazing, which have been deliberately photographed and are shown clearly in the images.
