Este grande prato de parede ou travessa circular em faiança vitrificada da época Art Déco provém da famosa fábrica belga Boch Frères Keramis e apresenta o motivo decorativo floral de inspiração asiática intitulado Mikado, criado sob a direção de Raymond Chevalier. Esta peça central de coleção ostenta um esplêndido motivo de pintura à mão, que retrata grandes peônias e crisântemos estilizados em cores vivas de amarelo-alaranjado, azul cobalto, rosa fúcsia e verde-prado. Cada motivo é realçado com toques dourados luminosos e delineado por um relevo preto segundo a técnica do cloisonné, destacando-se lindamente sobre um fundo marrom chocolate profundo. O motivo central é enquadrado por uma larga borda periférica texturada em cor bronze‑marrom e realçada por um duplo filet dourado. Sob a base, o objeto apresenta um conjunto excepcional de marcas de origem, incluindo o carimbo preto de um pergaminho estilizado indicando explicitamente que este motivo exclusivo faz parte de um Décor Limité a apenas 250 exemplares no total para o mercado mundial, ladeado pelas iniciais BK da fábrica, o monograma manuscrito composto pelas letras R e C entrelaçadas que atesta a assinatura de Raymond Chevalier, o número de forma 32 gravado em baixo relevo, e a referência manuscrita do motivo D 2919 pintada em preto. This collectible centerpiece features a sumptuous and lush hand-painted floral decoration, showcasing large stylized peonies and chrysanthemums in vibrant shades of orange-yellow, cobalt blue, fuchsia pink, and meadow green. Each motif is enhanced with luminous gold accents and outlined with a black relief using the cloisonne technique, standing out beautifully against a deep chocolate brown background. The central decor is framed by a wide textured border in a bronze-brown color and highlighted by a double gold line.
