Sénoufo - rhythm pounders - Gana (Sem preço de reserva)

Senufo anthropomorphic statues, known as rhythm pounders. Each carved from a single piece of wood, depicting a female and a male figure. These pieces are in excellent condition and really decorative.

Highly elongated bodies, with narrow torsos and long arms held away from the body. Slightly bent legs and forward-projecting faces. Tall, ridged crest hairstyles. Geometric markings on the face and body suggest scarification. The female figure is on the left, while the male figure, with a beard and depicted genitalia, is on the right.
