Fil Rouge nasce da lenda oriental do fio vermelho do destino, segundo a qual um fio invisível une pessoas destinadas a encontrar-se e a permanecer profundamente ligadas, independentemente do tempo e da distância.
Nesta obra o símbolo é reinterpretado através do vínculo entre mãe e filho. Duas mãos pertencentes a gerações diferentes procuram-se e apertam-se, enquanto o fio vermelho, concretamente representado pelo bordado, envolve os dedos e transforma uma antiga lenda numa representação da relação materna.
O fundo rosa, minimalista e suspenso, faz emergir o gesto das mãos, enquanto o encontro entre acrílico, lápis de cor e fio bordado cria um diálogo entre imagem e matéria. O fio não está apenas representado: atravessa fisicamente a tela, tornando-se metáfora de um laço que acompanha, protege e une ao longo do tempo.

Fil Rouge draws inspiration from the Eastern legend of the red thread of fate, according to which an invisible thread connects people who are destined to meet and remain deeply bound, regardless of time and distance.
In this work, the symbol is reinterpreted through the bond between mother and child. Two hands belonging to different generations reach for and hold one another, while the red thread, physically created through embroidery, wraps around their fingers, transforming an ancient legend into a representation of the maternal bond.
The minimal, suspended pink background allows the gesture of the hands to emerge, while the combination of acrylic, coloured pencils and embroidered thread creates a dialogue between image and material. The thread is not merely depicted: it physically crosses the canvas, becoming a metaphor for a bond that accompanies, protects and connects through time.
Shipping: The artwork will be shipped unframed and unstretched, carefully rolled and placed inside a protective tube with professional packaging to ensure maximum protection during transport.
