Descrição fornecida pelo vendedor
Mochica portrait vase (portrait huaco) of fine sec. XX. This is an authorized replica of a famous pre-Colombian ceramic vessel originating from the Moche culture, which developed on the northern coast of present-day Peru between the 1st and 8th centuries AD.
A glass with gargalo em asa-estribo (stirrup-spout vessel), a classic format of Andean water that facilitates the transportation of liquids and reduces evaporation.
The Moche stand out for their exceptional sculptural naturalism. This specimen portrays in great detail the face of an elite individual or warrior. The dress is a cap/touca with geometric and wavy patterns, prominent ear ornaments (oreiras) and a circular dressing in the shape of a flower or flower on the side of the head. Ceramics modeled and decorated with two-color slip paint (usually terracotta/brown-brown and cream).
