"Product Overview"
This is a FERNANDES FGZ-400 electric guitar, made in Japan.
The FGZ-400 was designed primarily for beginner to intermediate guitarists. Despite its accessible positioning, it features three pickups, providing a versatile range of tones suitable for everything from heavy rock to clean and natural sounds.
Another distinctive feature of this guitar is its design.
Many entry-level and intermediate FERNANDES guitars feature relatively simple and traditional designs, while this particular model has a more distinctive appearance.
The decorative design on the pickups is one of the details that gives this guitar its unique character.

"About the Brand –FERNANDES”
FERNANDES is a Japanese guitar brand known for producing instruments with an emphasis on playability and the precise craftsmanship associated with Japanese manufacturing.
The company produced a wide range of instruments, from entry-level guitars to models designed for professional guitarists.
FERNANDES became particularly well known in Japan for its strong association with rock music and has been used by many rock guitarists over the years.
Unfortunately, FERNANDES effectively ceased operations in 2025.
As a result, many older FERNANDES guitars are becoming increasingly difficult to find, making vintage Japanese-made models particularly interesting for players and collectors.
"About the Brand –Phoenix”
Also included with this guitar is a new set of strings from Phoenix, a Japanese brand.
Phoenix strings are designed to provide a comfortable playing feel and good resistance to rust, making them suitable for a wide range of players.
Japanese craftsmanship and manufacturing quality are recognised worldwide across many different industries.
We hope you will enjoy trying these Phoenix strings together with this Japanese FERNANDES guitar.
