It's becoming more and more challenging to find a "% functional" Vintage Apple/Macintosh PLUS !
Especially in "VERY GOOD CONDITION" & "FULLY RECAPED".
Being an Apple enthusiast, I have collected RARE and VALUABLE hardware and software for my co-sentimental Apple companions. The lucky Macintosh Apple enthusiast can supplement his/her collection with this legendary collector's item: the “Macintosh PLUS”.
UNIQUE to this particular computer are “the engraved signatures” of the original Macintosh team - including the signature of “STEVE JOBS” - inside the CASE. The Macintosh team found the original Macintosh ART - and they saw themselves as ARTISTS. When you open “the case”, you understand why.
This is the third model in the Macintosh line, introduced January , - two years after the original Macintosh () and one year after the Macintosh K. Price tag at the time was US $ (equivalent of $ , in ).
// IMPORTANT – WHY BUY FROM ME?

I am a Mac user from way back in the Legacy Era. I offer Vintage Apple computers as I would buy them myself. My admiration for Steve Jobs' legacy is so great that I want the Macs I sell, to stand "the test of time". Furthermore I only sell items I have "passion" for.
Hardware-wise, all my sold computers are completely disassembled, (deep) cleaned – and, if necessary, repaired – in order to extend their lifespan. See pictures.
// ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST & BATTERY ACID
– DUST: the inside of a -year-old computer (and keyboard and mouse) looks the same as "the collection-container of a vacuum cleaner" (read: a dust bunny). And as you know "dust" can ruin your electronics;
– LEAKS: -year-old batteries will someday leak, causing irreversible damage to the computer. The battery is removed (FYI: online you can buy a new .V battery for date/time settings. Please let me know if you need help finding the right battery, however a battery is not required to use this computer). To preserve the computer for the future it is even better to not place a new battery;
– BOARD REVISION: both boards (analog logic) were revised (thus: the non-functioned electrolytic capacitors were replaced).
– REFURBISHED: the floppy drive is refurbished. This includes "floppy drive lubrication". Therefore the "internal floppy drive" works like a charm (formatting, reading and writing disks and of-course ejecting). Usually the "EJECT mechanism" fails. So the famous paperclip method is NOT needed for this Mac! Thus: SERVICED and totally functional floppy drive.
Long-Story Short. Computers from other vendors may look the same on the outside. I can guarantee you that the inside is very different! So if you want to enjoy your investment for as long as possible, choosing "wisely" is advisable.
// GERM-FREE "RARE" MA KEYBOARD & M MOUSE
The Macintosh comes with the accompanying keyboard and mouse. Those objects alone are already worth a fortune on auction websites. The keyboard (and mouse) are completely disassembled and cleaned professionally (see pictures). In my opinion it is my responsibility (as a seller) to provide a Germ-Free keyboard (a study found that % of the keyboards were contaminated with bacteria). So, I think we can agree that nobody wants a nasty, infected keyboard.

The aforementioned software was released along the first Apple Macintosh systems in . "MacWrite" and "MacPaint" were two original "killer applications" that propelled the adoption and popularity of the Mac in particular.
Disclaimer:
The computer only includes software & games that is classified as "abandonware" ( from the Public Domain, distributed over the internet and available freely, easily and readily). The software is supplied "free of charge" as a free service (for the retro-computing fan). The floppy disk is a digital copy of the original Plus kb floppy disk.
// KB FLOPPIES (NEW OLD STOCK)
I ALWAYS use brand-new-(Kb)-floppies to copy "system & software". Therefore the color is subject to availability at the time of payment. Floppy color can be "blue, black or white".
// WHAT MAKES THIS VINTAGE APPLE EVEN MORE SPECIAL?
The Macintosh Plus was the last classic Mac to feature a “telephone cord-like port” - on the front of the device - for the keyboard; as well as the “DE- connector” for the mouse (later models would use ADB ports). That makes this Apple Computer extremely RARE and EXCEPTIONAL … and therefore a good investment. FYI: The RARE keyboard and mouse, they alone are worth the bid (check other websites for their prices)!
As an evolutionary improvement over the K, the PLUS came with MB RAM standard, and an external SCSI peripheral bus that launched the popularity of external SCSI devices for Macs (hard drives, tape drives, CD-ROM drives, printers, Zip drives, and even monitors).
And even better. I upgraded the MB Plus to MB (DOUBLED memory).

As these are "vintage items", they are being sold as. Normal signs of use and wear. But as an experienced connoisseur I can guarantee that these items are in VERY GOOD condition (always keeping in mind their age). The numerous images are part of the meticulous description. Thus: judge yourself!
PS/ this is not a modern computer (but a collectable & investment). Inform yourself (Google it!) about the possibilities of this pre-internet device.
// IMPORTANT – A NOTE ON YELLOWED PLASTICS!
Some words on the yellowing.
Old computer cases are made of ABS plastics which contain at that time "BROMINE". The element bromine reacts over the time of years with UV light and causes (not-even) "yellowing". The bromine yellowing is not even. I mean. Some parts age differently.
Take into account the fact that the plastic case shows "some stains" en "cosmetical imperfections" that are unfortunately difficult to capture (on photo). But they are there!
Please, if you find the aforementioned "stains" and "imperfections" a problem, it is recommended that you do NOT bid on this item. Again … the yellowed plastic is not easy to capture on camera. And the colour (of the pictures) depends on lighting, etc
FYI/
Experienced collectors love the "aging-bromine-yellowing". You can compare it with "patina" on vintage furnitures. For connoisseurs it transforms the-surface-of-a-piece from the ordinary to the exceptional – and it tells a story … and brings on the appeal of objects that show their age openly. But again … it is important to know that this specific Mac has PATINA.
Be aware. All mechanical parts make more noice than you are use to, compared with modern equipment. But this is “normal” behavior. Obviously this is a year old machine. The speed is therefore corresponding. For example. Booting-up takes a while.
FYI:
When the computer has not been used for a long time, the CRT screen may be vibrate a little. That is "normal" vintage CRT behaviour. The vibrating stops after the CRT warms up.

Sou um usuário de Mac desde a Era Legacy. Ofereço computadores Apple Vintage como se eu mesmo os comprasse. Minha admiração pelo legado de Steve Jobs é tão grande que quero que os Macs que vendo resistam "ao teste do tempo". Além disso, vendo apenas itens pelos quais tenho "paixão".
No que diz respeito ao hardware, todos os meus computadores vendidos estão completamente desmontados, (profundamente) limpos – e, se necessário, reparados – para prolongar sua vida útil. Veja as fotos.
// OUTRO MORDE A POEIRA E O ÁCIDO DA BATERIA
– POEIRA: o interior de um computador de anos (e teclado e mouse) parece o mesmo que "o recipiente de coleta de um aspirador de pó" (leia-se: um coelhinho de poeira). E, como você sabe, "poeira" pode arruinar seus eletrônicos;
FURTO: Baterias de anos podem um dia vazar, causando danos irreversíveis ao computador. A bateria é removida (para sua informação: online você pode comprar uma nova bateria de ,V para configurações de data/hora. Por favor, me avise se precisar de ajuda para encontrar a bateria correta, no entanto, uma bateria não é necessária para usar este computador). Para preservar o computador para o futuro, é ainda melhor não colocar uma nova bateria;
– REVISÃO DA PLACA: ambas as placas (analógica lógica) foram revisadas (assim: os capacitores eletrolíticos que não funcionavam foram substituídos).
– REFORMADO: a unidade de disquete é reformada. Isso inclui "lubrificação da unidade de disquete". Portanto, a "unidade de disquete interna" funciona como um encanto (formatando, lendo e gravando discos e, claro, ejetando). Normalmente, o mecanismo "EJETAR" falha. Então, o famoso método do clipe de papel NÃO é necessário para este Mac! Portanto: unidade de disquete REPARADA e totalmente funcional.
Resumindo a história. Computadores de outros fornecedores podem parecer iguais por fora. Posso garantir que o interior é bem diferente! Então, se você quer aproveitar seu investimento pelo maior tempo possível, escolher "com sabedoria" é aconselhável.
// TECLADO MA "RARO" SEM GERMES E MOUSE M
O Macintosh vem com o teclado e o mouse acompanhantes. Esses objetos sozinhos já valem uma fortuna em sites de leilão. O teclado (e o mouse) estão completamente desmontados e limpos profissionalmente (veja as fotos). Na minha opinião, é minha responsabilidade (como vendedor) fornecer um teclado livre de germes (um estudo de constatou que % dos teclados estavam contaminados com bactérias). Então, acho que podemos concordar que ninguém quer um teclado nojento e infectado.

O que torna essa maçã vintage ainda mais especial?
O Macintosh Plus foi o último Mac clássico a apresentar uma porta semelhante a um telefone antigo na frente do dispositivo para o teclado; assim como o conector "DE-" para o mouse (modelos posteriores usariam portas ADB). Isso torna este computador da Apple extremamente RARO e EXCEPCIONAL... e, portanto, um bom investimento. Para sua informação: o teclado e o mouse RAROS, por si só, valem a pena a oferta (verifique outros sites para verificar seus preços)!
Como uma melhoria evolutiva em relação ao K, o PLUS veio com MB de RAM padrão e um barramento periférico SCSI externo que lançou a popularidade de dispositivos SCSI externos para Macs (discos rígidos, unidades de fita, unidades de CD-ROM, impressoras, unidades Zip e até monitores).
E melhor ainda. Atualizei o MB Plus para MB (memória DOBRADA).

Mas, como um conhecedor experiente, posso garantir que esses itens estão EM CONDIÇÕES MUITO BOAS (sempre levando em consideração a idade). As inúmeras imagens fazem parte da descrição detalhada. Portanto: julgue você mesmo!
PS/ este não é um computador moderno (mas um item colecionável e investimento). Informe-se (pesquise no Google!) sobre as possibilidades deste dispositivo pré-internet.

Algumas palavras sobre o amarelamento. Gabinetes de computador antigos são feitos de plástico ABS que contêm naquela época "BROMO". O elemento bromo reage ao longo dos anos com luz UV e causa (não uniforme) "amarelamento". O amarelamento do bromo não é uniforme. Quero dizer. Algumas partes envelhecem de forma diferente.
Leve em consideração o fato de que a caixa de plástico apresenta "algumas manchas" e "imperfeições cosméticas" que infelizmente são difíceis de capturar (na foto). Mas elas estão lá!
Por favor, se você achar as "manchas" e "imperfeições" mencionadas acima um problema, é recomendado que você NÃO dê lances neste item. Novamente... o plástico amarelado não é fácil de capturar na câmera. E a cor (das fotos) depende da iluminação, etc.

Colecionadores experientes adoram o "amarelamento de bromo envelhecido". Você pode compará-lo com a "pátina" em móveis vintage. Para os conhecedores, ele transforma a superfície de uma peça do comum para o excepcional – e conta uma história... e traz o apelo de objetos que mostram sua idade abertamente. Mas, novamente... é importante saber que este Mac específico tem PÁTINA.
Esteja ciente. Todas as peças mecânicas fazem mais barulho do que você está acostumado, em comparação com equipamentos modernos. Mas esse é um comportamento “normal”. Obviamente, esta é uma máquina de anos. A velocidade é, portanto, correspondente. Por exemplo. A inicialização demora um pouco.
Para sua informação:
Quando o computador não é usado por um longo período, a tela CRT pode vibrar um pouco. Isso é um comportamento "normal" de CRT vintage. A vibração para após a CRT aquecer.
