Magnificent vintage Karl Ens porcelain statue of a blue multicolored Cockatoo/Kakadu parrot bird on a branch, in excellent to pristine condition. This marvelous porcelain statue was produced by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory in Volkstedt, during the beginning 20th century, marked on the base with Ens Mill on Green color (1919 - 1945). This Cockatoo bird is of exceptional quality, with highly impressed electric blue feathers, raised yellow crest and chest, pink top of the head and green emerald to black, tail. Strong claws with two toes face forward and two backward, on top of branches with leaves, finished in shiny glaze and hand painted in vivid hues, absolute magnificent piece. It is in excellent to pristine condition, Ens “mill” mark of the period, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
