Tikhon of Zadonsk (born Timofey Savelyevich Sokolov, 1724-1783) was a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, Bishop of Voronezh and Yelets, a theologian, and a leading Orthodox religious educator of the 18th century. He was canonized as a saint.
