Aase Molle og trævarer - Cómoda - Teca, Betula

Aase Mølle & Trævarer – Mid-Century Teak Chest of Drawers – Norway, 1957 – Scandinavian Modern Design Elegant and authentic mid-century modern Norwegian chest of drawers, handcrafted by Aase Mølle & Trævarer, Ganddal (Norway), and stamped August 1957 on the back panel. This original 1950s dresser exemplifies the Scandinavian modern aesthetic — compact, functional, and beautifully crafted in teak veneer with a rare diagonal grain pattern (“Chevron front”). The design features angled solid-teak legs, three drawers with brass handles, and minimalist proportions that make it ideal for smaller interiors, modern apartments, or collectors of authentic Nordic furniture. Aase Mølle & Trævarer was among the few Norwegian producers to combine craftsmanship and industrial precision during the 1950s, comparable in quality to Bruksbo, Rastad & Relling, and Arne Wahl Iversen. The piece retains its original factory label and production date (8 AUG 1957) — extremely rare documentation for Norwegian furniture of this era.
