This beautifully preserved Nautilus shell has been expertly sectioned to reveal its intricate internal structure, perfectly aligned with the golden ratio. The exterior has been polished, showcasing the magnificent iridescent reflections of the mother-of-pearl.
Some minor losses to the chamber structures are present, as shown in the photos, due to the natural fragility of the shell. However, these do not detract from the overall beauty and elegance of the piece.
The two halves measure approximately:
Left: 30g - 12x9.5x3cm
Right: 25g - 12x8.8x3 cm
