A lovely early 17th century (ca. 1625) Kosomestuke (Thickly potted Chinese porcelain for the Japanese mark and Tea ceremonies) with a central decoration of an House on High Cliffs Besides Bamboo in the Clouds in an Amazing Rock Landscape. Executed in a magnificent cobalt blue. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the late Ming dynasty, Tianqi period (1621-1627) early 1600's. On the backside a nice deep foot rim with remnants of sand from the kiln. Diameter: 14,8 centimeter Condition: The object is in good condition, some typical moth bites a bottom crack. Without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
