A very beautiful 3D silkscreen - James Rizzi (1950 - 2011) - "Everyone Wants to Win the World Cup" (1992) Hand signed and numbered in pencil. Edition 310 of 350. Inscribed with title and dated in ink. Provenance: acquired through UK auction house. Mounted and framed - museum quality frame with anti-glare glaze. Ready to be hanged. Excellent condition. Frame with minimal scratches that do not affect the overall aesthetics and ready to be hanged - please see detailed photos. Dimensions of the artwork - 24.5 x 24 cm Dimensions framed - 43 x 42 cm James Rizzi was a pop artist best known for his bright, cartoonlike drawings and 3D constructions. The three-dimensionality gave his prints a sense of movement and playfulness. Rizzi's works began with the artist sketching the scene, including all of the figures with their own personalities. After finishing each sketch in ink, he finalized the color coding, which was sent to his printer. The work then went into its final stage of collaging from multiple versions of prints that created the final three dimensional form. PLEASE NOTE: - This item will be shipped from UK.
