6 new, but old tea towels with B.B.
They were offered to me still in its original cellophane
packaging and had lived in the back pantry cupboard
for decennia.
These wonderful linen tea towels were bought in dozens
at the time and very heavily used. They stood up to harsh
washing techniques and were taken to the streams to be washed with all
the other linen. Washing machines had not been invented yet.
It is a perfect set of 6 with hand embroidered B.B. initials.
There are 2 vertical "blood red" borders. The length of the tea towels
is unusually long at 87cm.
