An engraved Yao (瑶族) bone Comb Headdress Southern China, Late 19th - Early 20th century This Southern Chinese comb exhibits eighteen bone pieces which are etched / engraved on both sides with an intricate circle within circle design, tied together on a wooden frame with a red ball attached to the top and trailing tassels with white and black glass beads with purple-red fringes on a diamond shaped etched bone pendant.
