This is a two-book set of Rinko Kawauchi’s iconic early works, “Utatane” and “Hanabi.”
Both titles were first published in 2001 and quickly established Kawauchi as one of the most poetic and influential voices in contemporary Japanese photography.
These copies are later printings (Utatane: 2020 / Hanabi: 2024), not first editions, but the content and design remain faithful to the original publications.
