An important bronze bull head ritual bell from the ancient, late Dong Son Culture (South China, Laos, Northern Vietnam, Cambodia).
First millenium BC .
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice green antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, artisan bronze casting work.Traces of excavation's deposits on its surface.
Purchased in 1974 / Hanoi by Dr. Zelnik during his university studies in Vietnam.
