Truly huge specimens. However, they have several restorations along fractures they suffered during excavation. These restorations basically consist of filling the fractures. In this case, both are partially rooted and their root are authentic. The fractures have been glued and filled, but unlike other cases, the roots are real. About restorations and filled fractures: This is a typical technique used by local excavators to restore teeth. It's not a professional technique, and it leaves much to be desired. Anyway, they are a good authentic example of the amazing dentition of this huge piscivorous dinosaur that reigned during the Cretaceous period in the ecosystems of what is now North Africa.
