Beautiful work by Jos Doom. The work reflects the pleasure and enjoyment of dancing and manages to convey the sense of movement in the dance. It evokes joie de vivre and is a pleasure to watch. It does not let go and is therefore a special work. Dance is often depicted quite statically in painting with more emphasis on the dancer and her attributes, say more like a portrait. Rarely is the dance itself central as in this special work. The work is nicely framed and has a nice size. It is also in very good condition. Packed carefully and shipped with insurance.
