Illiustrated, small octavo, pp xvi, 693, with the half-title, slightly age-toned internally, the gathering with pages 57-64 is becoming loose, the final pages of the index are a little bruised at top and bottom corners, the front and rear hinges are cracked and the rear hinge is becoming weak. Original green cloth, a little rubbed at the corners, the spine is a little faded and rather pulled at the top and bottom with small tears. Freeman 951. [Freeman states, of the preceeding twelfth thousand of 1877 -"This is the final definitve text".]
