Artist Svend Sinding Christensen was born in Copenhagen in 1898 and trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Ejner Nielsen. Christensen exhibited regularly in Denmark, including Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling during the 1920s and later with Kunstnerforeningen. He was awarded the Sødrings Legat in 1969. He worked primarily with landscapes and urban views, alongside a smaller number of portraits and figurative works. He died in 1980.
