The original construction features a traditional steel spring system with cushions filled with natural Afrik stuffing, providing excellent support and long-lasting comfort. The upholstery was renewed approximately five years ago and has since been carefully preserved; it has recently undergone professional chemical cleaning. The solid base and legs are made of mahogany, while all visible sides of the sofa are veneered in richly figured ebony macassar, allowing the piece to be presented from every angle. Hidden storage compartment located beneath the seat cushions. The wooden surfaces have been finely sanded and treated with multiple layers of oil, resulting in a deep, natural satin finish.
