Inna Etuvgi - BROCCOLI DEW - Studio Trial Edition (ST 1/3) - matted 70x50cm
BROCCOLI DEW
Studio Trial Edition (ST 1/3) by Inna Etuvgi
Image size: 40x50 cm | Total size with mat: 50x70 cm
“This dewdrop is me calmly resting inside the inner landscape, found in the dusty mint hues of a garden morning.”
CONCEPT: THE VESSEL OF CONSCIOUSNESS
In "Broccoli Dew," the artist practices radical sensory projection. The complex, muted tones of the broccoli leaf—a shifting spectrum of dusty green, grey, and pale blue—create a "place of peace." Inna Etuvgi doesn't just observe the dewdrop; she becomes it.
For an artist with Aphantasia (the inability to visualize imagery internally), the external world becomes the stage for the inner life captured with the camera. Here, the single drop is a metaphor for consciousness itself: fragile, perfectly still, and gently cradled by the textured reality of the leaf. It is a work of cybernetic animism, where a botanical detail becomes a sacred sanctuary for the soul.
EDITION NOTE: STUDIO TRIAL (ST 1/3)
This lot features a Studio Trial (ST 1/3) printed on Hahnemühle Studio Enhanced 210 gsm. While a lighter paper, its matte texture perfectly captures the "dusty" and ethereal quality of the broccoli leaf's unique coloration.
This specific print was chosen for its ability to convey the hypnotic color depth that is often lost in digital previews. As a Studio Trial, it is a rare, artist-sanctioned artifact of the creative process, professionally mounted in a museum-quality mat for a complete gallery presentation.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.
Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi uses her camera and Generative AI as a "visual prosthesis" to externalize deep emotional landscapes. Her macro photography magnifies nature’s smallest details, urging a shift from a human-centered worldview to one of interconnectedness.
Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, Etuvgi’s work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”
