'Purity' is an original acrylic painting exploring the relationship between portraiture and Persian (Farsi) calligraphy. Rather than existing separately, the script becomes an integral part of the composition, flowing through the figure and dissolving the boundary between language and image. The calligraphy reads "Purity", symbolising the inherent purity, dignity and inner strength of feminine nature. Executed in a restrained monochrome palette with gold accents, the work balances realism with abstraction, drawing influence from contemporary calligraffiti while celebrating the expressive beauty of Persian script.

Hollow Ink is a London-based urban contemporary artist, born in 1995, whose work explores the connection between calligraffiti, abstraction and spiritual expression. Working across multiple mediums, Hollow Ink blends influences from street culture, islamic and gothic calligraphy and modern urban abstract art to create pieces driven by movement, symbolism and emotion.
