Exploră energia care apare din interacțiunea umană. Fiecare lucrare reprezintă relația dintre indivizi care, prin întâlnire și conectare, generează o forță nouă ce transcende sinele.
Compozițiile se construiesc pe baza dialogului dintre spațiul pozitiv și materialitatea spațiului negativ. Spațiul pozitiv, definit prin contraste cromatice intense, exprimă identitatea, prezența și unicitatea fiecărui individ. Spațiul negativ dobândește o prezență tangibilă, nu mai acționează ca o absență, ci devine un loc în care există conexiuni invizibile: întâlnire, distanță, memorie, tăcere și empatie.
În această serie, legătura umană este dezvăluită nu doar prin forme, ci și prin spațiile care îi unesc și îi separă. În cadrul acestui echilibru răsare sinergia: o forță comună care transformă diversitatea într-o unitate dinamică, în continuă evoluție.

Artist Statement:
Lucrarea mea se încadrează în domeniul abstracției geometrice contemporane, unde structura și intuiția coexistă. Prin cercuri, linii și plane de culoare, explorez relații vizuale care oscilează între ordinea compozițională și spontaneitatea gestului.
În timp ce practica mea dialoghează cu principiile Bauhaus—claritatea formală, echilibrul și utilizarea geometriei—este distinctă prin încorporarea texturilor gestuale care stimulează spațiul negativ. Aceste suprafețe materiale, lucrate cu mai multă libertate, generează o tensiune între control și expresivitate.
În contrast, spațiul pozitiv este construit prin forme geometrice definite—cilindri, elipse, triunghiuri și plane cromatice—organizate cu precizie structurală. Aceste forme funcționează ca unități vizuale care generează ritm, ierarhie și echilibru în cadrul compoziției.
Coexistența suprafețelor texturate și a elementelor geometrice ascuțite stabilește un dialog între gest și structură. Culoarea, aplicată pe plane saturate și contrastante, acționează ca un element organizator care ghidă privirea și întărește dinamica internă a operei.
În diversele mele serii, abordezi teme precum relațiile umane, memoria, migrația, spairitualitatea și probleme sociale, transpuse într-un limbaj abstract și sintetic. Aceste referințe nu sunt prezentate literal, ci integrate în structura compozițională prin tensiuni, echilibre și conexiuni între forme.
Lucrarea mea propune astfel un limbaj geometric contemporan care îmbină rigurozitatea formală cu libertatea expresivă, invitând atât o lectură analitică a compoziției, cât și o experiență vizuală directă.

Biography:
Miriam CHiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.
She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.
Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.
Miriam CHiera's works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.

Today she lives in Senigallia, Italy, after traveling through many cities: Milan, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, ​​​Manchester, Buenos Aires, Rosario and her hometown, Ceres. Each place has left its mark on her art, shaping the vision and expression that flows through her work.

Artist Statement:
A work of art is far more than a fashionable object, a fleeting trend, or a decorative element designed to solve a spatial issue. I create paintings with the hope that they become a window through which you can tell yourself a story-where the art interacts with your life in a meaningful way.
Each piece carries its own imprint, a soul, an energy that transforms it into a living presence within your space. My aspiration is for my art to move you, to evoke a desire to possess it, to immerse yourself in its essence, and to enjoy its company each morning as you stand before it.
