[Foarte Bun / Testat] Nikomat FTN SLR Body (3554496)
■ Overview
This is the highly durable and classic Nikomat FTN 3554496 SLR film camera body, originally released by Nikon in 1967.
■ Condition
[Aspect: Condiție Vintage Foarte Bună]
It shows a nice vintage feel from age. There are no major dents or deep scratches, and overall it remains in relatively clean condition for its age. Please carefully check the attached photos.
[Optics: EXCELLENT]
The mirror is very clean. The viewfinder is exceptionally clear with almost no dust, offering excellent visibility.
[Functional: Tested & Working]
The shutter fires properly.
All shutter speeds (from low to high) change and work accurately.
The film counter and its reset function work perfectly.
The self-timer works properly.
The light meter is tested and working (reacts to light).
*Note about the Light Seals:
The light seals (sponges) are in their original condition and show degradation due to age. They are sold as-is. (Replacing them is recommended for practical shooting).
*Note about the Light Meter Battery:
A new 1.5V alkaline battery (625 type) is included and installed. Please note that because the original mercury battery was 1.35V, the higher voltage causes the meter to read about 1 to 1.5 stops over (brighter). This is a common characteristic when using modern batteries. You can easily compensate for this by adjusting the ISO dial, and it is well within the acceptable latitude if you shoot color negative films.
