About the Artist

Olga Volha Piashko is an internationally exhibited artist with a background in fine and graphic arts. Her artistic research encompasses a wide range of styles and media, evolving from realism and surrealism toward an increasingly personal and expressive abstract language.
Her work is driven by a profound exploration of the relationship between colour, space and human emotion, focusing on the way contrasting elements interact and influence our perception. Recurring themes include the interplay of light and shadow, duality and extremes, and organic forms immersed in surreal environments.
Throughout her career, Piashko has received prestigious national and international recognitions and has exhibited her work in important cultural and institutional venues in Italy and abroad. Her works are held in significant public and institutional collections, including the Quirinal Palace in Rome, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne and the Giulio Onesti Foundation – Italian National Olympic Academy.

2012 – PRESIDENTIAL AWARD, ITALY

First Prize in the competition for the creation of a fan dedicated to the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, organized by the Parliamentary Press. This important recognition represents one of the most distinguished achievements of the artist's career, linking her artistic work directly to the Italian Presidency of the Republic.

2012 – International Olympic Committee (IOC) Recognition

Italian Finalist Representative and First International Prize Winner at the “Sport and Art Contest”, an international art competition organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in connection with the London 2012 Olympic Games. Piashko received the international first prize for her work “In Search of Harmony”.
The winning work was subsequently presented in prestigious international exhibitions, including the Guildhall Art Gallery in London and the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, further establishing the artist's international profile.
