Chartreuse VEP Verte (Verde)
Monastero Grande Chartreuse
A yellow version of VEP Verte, a liqueur produced by the Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse in Grenoble.
Obtained by adding a mixture of aromatic herbs, predominantly yellow ones, this liqueur was aged several years in barrels. The recipe is jealously guarded by the "twin" Carthusian monks. Only two knew it, when one died, the other decided to pass it on to a third.
Ingredients: alcool, zahăr, 130 plante și flori.
Presentation: dop de sticlă caracteristic sigilat cu ceară, având emblema La Grande Chartreuse. Cutie din lemn ștanțată prin ardere la foc. Cantitatea disponibilă în fiecare an este limitată, fiecare sticlă este numerotată.
Tasting: this is one of the most extraordinary liqueurs in the world. Compared to green, the flavour is rounder, warmer, less balsamic.
Alcohol: 42% vol
Format: 100 cl
