Vintage boxed collection release by Reader’s Digest in 1965, comprising 10 vinyl records featuring a wide variety of orchestral, jazz, blues, Latin, dance and popular music arranged around different moods and atmospheres.

Capitol Records, H-478. Tony Romano performs classic Italian songs including O Sole Mio, Santa Lucia and Torna a Surriento, accompanied by an orchestra conducted by George Greeley.
2. Escale à Rome (1955)
London International, WB 91064. Featuring Manuel De Riva, Roberto Cardinali and Bruna Urbani, with Italian songs and orchestral arrangements evoking the atmosphere of mid-century Rome.
3. Carl Loubé and His Orchestra – O Come to Vienna (1950s)
Parlophone Records, PMD 1048. A collection of traditional Viennese melodies with zither accompaniment by Anton Karas, including Wien, Wien, nur du allein and Radetzky-Marsch.
4. Sara Montiel – La Violetera (1958)
