Nose: Some smoke, not overwhelming. A little leather and vanilla.
Taste: Easy, well rounded. Smoke coming more in front. Some dried fruit
Finish: More pungent kick, some smooth and not overwhelming smoke, some peber and salt. Nice maritime dram

The name "LongValley" stems from the early days of the Langatun Distillery, which in turn had its historical origins in the Baumberger family's old distillery and brewery building in Langenthal—"LongValley" being the English translation of Langenthal.
This original site—the distillery and brewery building dating back to 1857—is featured on the label of the newly launched "LongValley Selection."

Drawing on years of expertise gained in distillation, tasting, and the refinement of the palate, the new LongValley brand has now been launched as an independent bottler, marking a new venture for the team.
The three whisky enthusiasts at Langatun—André, Micha, and Chris—have long been captivated by this golden elixir. However, they found that the "Scottish gems" available on the market were becoming less and less "golden." This prompted the trio to take matters into their own hands regarding the spirit and the casks.

They source the finest matured whiskies from Scotland, sometimes finishing them in selected casks to create exquisite spirits with a rich diversity of flavors. The personal experience and preferences of these "Three Musketeers" are incorporated into the process to ensure a result that meets their exacting standards. The "LongValley Selection" designation stands for this.

This Caol Ila underwent a very special finishing process that is clearly noticeable. The result is an exceptional bottling of outstanding quality.
