Fully working Dual 1210 with CS10 plinth and original dust cover.
The 1210 is a charming, very solidly built fully automatic idler-drive turntable offering excellent value for money. When properly maintained, it can last a lifetime.
I have recently lubricated and checked all moving parts. The idler wheel had hardened over time and has been replaced with an original Dual 1210 idler wheel (€28.50 invested).
Equipped with pitch control and capable of playing records at 33, 45, and 78 RPM.
A popular model thanks to its idler wheel drive system.
Shown with a Dual CDS630 cartridge, which accepts interchangeable styli. These are still widely available starting from around €12. This is especially convenient if you want to play 78 RPM shellac records, as you can simply switch to a 78 RPM stylus.
The CDS 630 provides a high output, meaning you do NOT need a phono input on your (pre)amplifier.
As an alternative, I offer a good modern Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge. This is a moving magnet (MM) cartridge that DOES require a phono preamp or phono input on your amplifier (see last 2 photos). (Not suitable for 78 RPM.)
You can choose which cartridge you prefer; we will coordinate this via messages.

Just to be clear, you can select the cartridge which will be provided. The AT3600L or the Dual 630 CS, I will not send both. If you don't make a selection I will mount the AT3600L, which has better quality output but won't play 78 shellack records.
Pickup available in Eindhoven the Netherlands / Otherwise will be shipped very well protected with the correct transport locking screws engaged and separately packed platter / dustcover / headshell.
