ENG - This golden tiger, painted in acrylic on a large-scale canvas (100 × 120 cm), emerges powerfully from a black background, playing on the contrast between rich gold, pale gold, and black. The golden surface reflects the light and enhances the rendering of the coat, achieved through careful shading. The work belongs to the Light & Gold series and is one of the key works in my technical and stylistic research. After an academic background in decoration, this series marks my transition toward painting as an autonomous expressive language, defining the foundations of my style for approximately fifteen years. In this early phase, my research focuses on the exploration of identity, from which a personal and sensory investigation of silence and sound progressively develops, influenced by an atypical auditory experience and transformed into images capable of conveying inner perceptions and emotions. The artwork is fitted with two rear hanging hooks and is in very good overall condition. The frontal subject has not undergone changes over time. There is slight marginal wear on the two lower corners of the canvas fold, in an area not visible from the front, for which a conservative restoration intervention has been carried out. A certificate of authenticity will be provided, and the canvas will be shipped unframed. https://angelabombardi.art/bio/ ITA - Questa tigre dorata, dipinta in acrilico su tela di grandi dimensioni (100 × 120 cm), emerge con forza da uno sfondo nero, giocando sul contrasto tra oro ricco, oro pallido e nero. La superficie dorata riflette la luce e valorizza la resa del manto, realizzato attraverso sfumature accurate. L’opera appartiene alla serie Light & Gold, ed è uno dei lavori chiave della mia ricerca tecnica e stilistica: dopo una formazione accademica in decorazione, questa serie segna il mio passaggio verso la pittura come linguaggio espressivo autonomo, definendo le basi del mio stile per circa quindici anni. In questa fase iniziale, la mia ricerca si concentra sull’indagine dell’identità, da cui si sviluppa progressivamente un’esplorazione personale e sensoriale del silenzio e del suono, influenzata da un’esperienza uditiva atipica e trasformata in immagini capaci di tradurre percezioni interiori ed emozioni. L’opera è dotata di due ganci posteriori ed è in ottime condizioni generali. Il soggetto frontale non ha subito variazioni nel tempo. È presente una lieve usura marginale nei due angoli inferiori del risvolto della tela, in una zona non visibile frontalmente, per la quale è stato effettuato un intervento di restauro conservativo. Viene rilasciato il certificato di autenticità e la tela verrà spedita senza telaio.
