The glass panel was not shown in the photo also Audio Star sold one exactly the same on the same day without the glass panel. The mini disc operates perfectly and the contact problem is your invention.  I will gladly refund the amount I received if you return the item.
Im not used to dissatisfied customers as I strive to seek perfection in what I take on.
You obviously need a higher class item at a higher price.
