Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely regret that the iron meteorite you received has developed rust, most probably as a result of shipping conditions. Iron meteorites are extremely sensitive to ambient air humidity.
 
You may restore its original appearance by following the steps below:
 
1. Gently sand the rusted areas with sandpaper;

2. Etch the surface with nitric acid to bring out its sharp, distinctive Widmanstätten pattern;

3. Finish by applying an anti-rust coating to stop further oxidation.

The knife is beautiful and looks exactly as in the photos. It was safely packaged and quickly dispatched. Thank you!
