The "Ginga" series is a series of woodblock prints depicting the world of the fairy tale "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by the writer Kenji Miyazawa. The works use a color scheme ranging from dark blue to bright blue. The scenes depict the night sky, the riverbank of the galaxy, and the Swan Stop.

Artist Profile:
Born in Mie Prefecture in 1941. He acquired traditional woodblock printing techniques and creates works with modern compositions and color schemes.
