mynt to commemorate issued by Banco Central de Reserva del Perú to commemorate the centennial of the Campaña de la Breña, one of the most distinguished episodes of the Guerra del Pacífico, led by general Andrés A. Cáceres. The obverse presents a detailed and powerfully expressive portrait of the Peruvian military figure, with excellent definition in facial features and uniform, while the reverse shows the finely crafted national shield, flanked by laurel and palm branches. The specimen retains a pleasing original luster, with well-preserved fields and sharp reliefs, displaying only light markings characteristic of the MS63 grade, making it a solid piece and highly representative of contemporary Peruvian commemorative numismatics.
