This book is a photographic collection of the contents of “Lovely High-matic Date,” which was serialized in “S&M Sniper,” a magazine that had a long history of 29 years until it ceased publication in 2008. The photographer is listed as “Anzai,” but the afterword states that he studied under Nobuyoshi Araki, so the photographer is Nobuhiko Anzai. After graduating from the Tohoku Institute of Technology with a degree in design, he entered Araki's class at the Workshop School of Photography, which was led by Shomei Tomatsu in the 1970s, to study photography. This is a collection of works that shows a series of secret dates between an editor and 19 women who met up at Shinjuku Nakamuraya, as if they were sequential contacts, in the manner of Nobuyoshi Araki.
