Its structure is simple: it consists of a rectangular seat and two wide, stable legs, which are often held together by a connecting element (brace) for stability. ​There is a cut-out opening in the middle of the seat, which serves for easy portability - therefore it can be lifted and put away with one hand. ​Its surface is rustic, with traces of use, the patina or traces of tools that have developed over time, which gives it a unique character. ​Originally it was used as a milking stool, a kitchen auxiliary seat or for lower tasks (e.g. peeling vegetables).
