Beskrivning från säljaren
Ett mycket unikt JazzArt-originalt akrylmålning på duk av Francisco Bravo Cabrera (BODO V.)
Francisco’s JazzArt paintings are an excellent addition to any modern art collection. His works are expressive and are surreal. They evoke emotions, and adds warmth to any atmosphere.
—About FRANCISCO BRAVO CABRERA—
Francisco Bravo Cabrera, also known as Bodo Vespaciano, is an international artist with over 23 years of professional experience. His work has been exhibited across North America, Europe, and Asia, including participation in Art Basel Miami Beach (in collaboration with Red Bar Gallery, Miami), PGArt Gallery in Istanbul, and the Salon d’Exposicions de Ciutat Vella (Ajuntament de València).
His works are held in private collections worldwide. Cabrera has developed a distinctive visual language through his self-defined styles, “Surreal—Expressionism” and “Jazz-Art,” characterized by dynamic compositions, emotional intensity, and rhythmic
—DANZA FRAGMENTADA— is an original acrylic on canvas.
This painting feels less like a painting and more like an improvisational jazz composition translated into visual form. The elongated female figure holds the role of the lead melody—elegant, fluid, and unmistakably dominant—while the surrounding fragmented faces enter like layered harmonies, counterpoints, and rhythmic accents.
What stands out most is the sense of cadence in the linework. The sweeping curves resemble the resonance of string instruments, while the sharp angular divisions introduce syncopation and tension, much like unexpected chord changes in modern jazz or avant-garde classical music. Every face appears to “enter” at a different emotional register, creating the sensation of multiple voices improvising around a central theme.
The monochromatic palette functions like a stripped-down acoustic arrangement: no excess ornamentation, only structure, timing, and emotional phrasing. Silence and space are used as deliberately as the lines themselves, allowing the eye to move through the composition the way the ear follows recurring motifs in a musical performance.
Most compelling is how the female figure becomes both conductor and instrument—simultaneously holding the composition together while dissolving into its rhythm. The result is deeply musical: layered, expressive, dissonant in moments, yet ultimately harmonious.
Painting will be shipped from the artist studio in València. It will be shipped in a rolled format, inside a mailing tube, well protected and with a Certificate of Authenticity. TRACKING number will be also be provided.
Happy Bidding.
