Although rooted in the honesty of materials and the strength of Brutalism, the sculpture introduces a new layer of contemporary visual language: bold, provocative, and emotionally charged.

My work focuses on the creation of unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional object, exploring materiality, structure, and durability. I create sculptural furniture and sculptures in iron and concrete, combining function and sculptural presence with a strong Brutalist influence.

Wallavibe – D.B är ett fristående skulpturverkstad där brutalism, geometri och industriellt minne förvandlas till samtida funktionell konst.
Jag växte upp i en miljö där betongväggar var tjockare än ord, och objekt skapades inte för skönhet utan för hållbarhet. Bilderna från min barndom — gråa bostadsblock, massiva möbler, grova ytor, järn, trä och betong — satte ett djupt avtryck i hur jag tänker och skapar. Det var en värld där form alltid följde funktion, och estetik uppkom ur nödvändighet snarare än överflöd.
Dessa minnen och erfarenheter blev grunden för mitt arbete. De brutalistiska bord och skulpturer jag skapar idag är både ett direkt svar på det förflutna och en dialog med nuet. Jag inspireras av monumentalitet, tyngd, exponerad struktur och ärliga material. Jag försöker inte dölja dem eller mjuka upp dem; istället låter jag dem tala för sig själva.
Mitt arbete är en form av motstånd mot snabb konsumtion. De är inte skapade för tillfälliga trender eller säsongsmässiga smakriktningar, utan för beständighet.
