Offered here is a Casa Arcangel Fernandez classical guitar from 1976, built in one of Madrid's most respected guitar workshops.

Arcangel Fernandez is regarded as one of the most influential Spanish guitar makers of the 20th century. After studying with the legendary Marcelo Barbero, he established a workshop that produced many outstanding classical and flamenco guitars and became one of the most respected names in Spanish guitar making.

This guitar was built under the Casa Arcangel Fernandez label and follows the traditional Madrid school of guitar construction. It features a cedar top combined with rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 660 mm and the nut width is 53 mm.

Tonally, the guitar remains very impressive. It has a deep, warm and expressive sound with strong basses, clear trebles and excellent responsiveness. It is lightweight, easy to play and delivers the characteristic Madrid sound that has made guitars from this workshop so desirable among players.
