Das Gemälde entstand im Jahr 2000 im Zusammenhang mit dem Projekt „Cocoon at Pigall“ in Zürich. Das Werk wurde dem heutigen Eigentümer damals persönlich vom Künstler geschenkt. Die Provenienz ist durch eine schriftliche Bestätigung von Valentin Magaro aus dem Jahr 2025 dokumentiert.

The work was created in 2000 as part of the artistic environment surrounding the project “Cocoon at Pigall” in Zurich, Switzerland. It was personally gifted by the artist to the current owner. The provenance is supported by a written email confirmation from Valentin Magaro dated 2025.

The composition features an intricate black organic network structure spreading across a luminous background of yellow, orange and green tones. The visual language evokes cellular, botanical and biomorphic forms, characteristic of Magaro’s work from this period.

Executed in acrylic on canvas, the painting demonstrates a strong balance between geometric precision and organic growth. The contrast between the dark linear structure and the vibrant chromatic field creates a sense of depth, tension and movement.
